About the Provider

Dr. Ivy Attobra, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC Founder, Mentis Psychiatric Service

Dr. Ivy Attobra is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and the founder of Mentis Psychiatric Service. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Frontier Nursing University in 2023 and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, in 2018.

Dr. Attobra brings nearly 13 years of nursing experience, including over six years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in mental health care within correctional settings. Her clinical expertise includes managing complex psychiatric and substance use disorders, particularly among adult patients in diverse and underserved populations.

Guided by a compassionate and patient-centered philosophy, Dr. Attobra integrates evidence-based practices with a holistic approach to care. She is dedicated to promoting recovery, resilience, and overall well-being through individualized treatment plans that address the biological, psychological, and social aspects of mental health.
